Description
...Looking fab af of course! These gals are all Model Challenge entries for various groups! On the left we have Achilia, a Pixie for Daughterofthehunt10's model challenge at FantasyChallenges; in the middle we have everyone's favorite daughter of Hecate Mystia representing Doll-Makers-Domain's challenge held by msbrit90; and on the far right is the lovely Sun, a girl who can use Light Manipulation modeling in allyvania88's challenge at DesignLoversChall! Each had their own theme to represent in the outfits they wear.
Achilia: Her prompt was to... basically, to be herself! We had to make our characters look as close to the original mythical creature we received as possible, so in Achilia's case she had to look like a Pixie! I'd already done that with her intro image though, so I was allowed to just base her outfit off of the prompt image and just make sure she had her pointed ears and wings, which I did! Here's her prompt image: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/o…
Mystia: Her prompt this round was called Hodgepodge; basically, instead of having a cohesive "theme" of sorts, everyone was given a leftover image from one of the previous rounds (specific ones for the newbie challengers because they haven't been part of all the rounds) to base our outfits off of. Mystia got a lovely three-tiered cake in blue, white, silver, and gold, with some giant pink flowers added in for good measure. I decided to make the dress look like it's two different parts, with the bodice being the white with polka dots and the skirt being a solid blue with gold trim, then added silver trim and the pink flowers over the top. Simple but to the point, and great considering the other two designs were much more difficult and time-consuming. Prompt Image: s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/o…
Sun: Her first prompt was Symbolic; basically, everyone was given either a Western horoscope symbol, East Asian/Chinese horoscope symbol, or a Tarot card symbol to base their outfit off of. Sun got the Chinese zodiac sign of the Dragon, which I recreated with moderate success on her dress. Here's some info on the Dragon in the Chinese Zodiac:
"Those born under the sign of the Dragon truly come to embody that fantastical creature, living their lives in the extremities of good and bad. As such, they are prone to experience great growth and crushing tragedy at numerous points throughout their life. As trying as these intense periods can be for them, however, it also provides Dragons with an enlightened view of the world and the way that everything works. Which in turn transforms a Dragon into a being of strong morals and justice, unable to endure deceit but also incapable of avoiding the deceit of others."
"The year of the Dragon is fifth in the Chinese zodiac. Each year has an animal sign according to a 12-year cycle. Years of the Dragon include 1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012 and 2024.
